Have you ever wondered what to do with your closet full of unused Indian clothes? Well, we at Ahaana would like to share with you about an environmentally sound initiative that has been gaining popularity since 2019 when we first started accepting donations. Repurpose clothing and fabrics and save the environment!
Net proceeds supports women-at-risk and refugees.

Ahaana’s The Renascence Project
Re-Create & Re-Fabricate
New and Preloved Indian clothing are sorted by dedicated volunteers for distribution to these projects:
The Project Shop
Come shop fashionable suits, saris, and clothing for men, women and children at our TRP Suite, 11315 Rancho Bernardo Road, Suite 136, San Diego #ShoptoSupport
Project Freedom & United We Sew
Clothes shipped to India, for distribution to women’s shelters, orphanages and impoverished villages. In US, Afghan women love to receive the modest salwar-kameez to wear. We supply saris to be re-fabricated into kaftans, purses, pillow cases, etc. as well as provide sewing supplies and training support.

Project Goodwill
Donated saris and dupattas are shipped widows in India who refabricate into bags, home décor, etc. for sale. This is their livelihood. Ahaana also repurchases the products to sell at our fundraisers. Full circle!

We are doing our part... please do yours! Donate your new, gently preloved Saris, Salwar Suits, Kurtis, Kids and Men's clothes. Clean out your closet and help with not dumping in the landfill.

Please drop us an email to Ahaana.TRP@gmail.com for donation support.

Thank you for helping to save the environment.
